Stop Lifespan/Miriam Petition

To: Providence City Officials

We the undersigned residents of the Summit Neighborhood want it duly noted that we are opposed to the expansion of Miriam Hospital in our neighborhood residential area. We call on the City of Providence to make changes to the Zoning laws to encourage institutions to expand in commercially designated areas and to use its influence to convince the Board of Miriam Hospital that its future is not in the residential area. We call on the Board of Miriam Hospital to recognize the effect Miriam Hospital is having on its neighbors and to redirect the future of the Hospital to a better location for such activities.
