[Summit] Paved Front Yard 91 Fourth Street

Hi Folks,

The newly paved front yard at 91 Fourth Street came up
in the thread on Parking.

Just wanted to let people know that I called the
building inspector about this 2 weeks ago.  I talked
to the area inspector, Tim Riley, who said he would
visit the site, and agreed it sounded like a
violation.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get
in touch with him again.  I was disappointed to see
Paul Aceto's note that similar problems had been
previously dismissed by the building inspector as
insignificant.  Hopefully that isn't happening again. 


I live within 200 feet of the house, so if the owner
had requested a variance, I think I should have been
notified.

There was an open house for the condo yesterday (Sun
5/7).  They are selling it as 2 condo units, with 4
parking spaces- 2 in the garage and 2 outside.

I figured if I don't hear back from the inspector this
week, I may try to enlist help from Kevin Jackson or
others.

Seems like more condo conversions in the neighborhood
will likely mean more paving for parking, so hopefully
we can get the City to enforce the laws protecting
green space.
