Jackson should be voted out of office. Does he really even live on Jenkins Street?

I want to thank all the neighbors who are contributing many different perspectives to this discussion of the parking issue in Summit. This is very helpful to the SNA board, both to know where neighbors stand and to communicate more effectively with folks like Kevin Jackson and the City.
Debates about citywide Comprehensive Plans, zoning and concepts like density can seem like abstractions. Discussions like these show what's really at stake for residents when those decisions are made. When this parking discussion begins to wind down, the SNA Board will collect and summarize it for city response.
I appreciate the civility of most participants as this discussion has taken off. This list was created and expanded through considerable volunteer effort so that all neighbors would have a respectful forum to be heard and to foster the exchange of ideas.
So, please state your own views clearly and with as much evidence as you can muster. Then respect and respond only to what people actually say on this list, not what you think they might have meant or thought. Let's not put words in the mouths of others or attribute opinions and motives to your neighbors that they have not expressed for themselves.
Posts to this list are not filtered by a moderator. We count on you to treat each other online with the same respect and good humor that we give each other on the real streets of Summit.
Thanks very much !
Jon
