[Summit] Yet another break-in

Without minimizing the troubling and very real impact of any of these
incidents on the homeowners and business owners, I'd like to say that the
feeling of increasing petty crime may be just the result of increased
neighborhood sharing and communication.

Its my gut feel that we've been absorbing this level of crime for some time
at an individual and block level. As we are now talking virtually across the
neighborhood via email, blogs, neighborhood meetings, etc we are learning
about crime in other parts of Summit.

So now that we are more aware and more connected, what do we want to do with
that energy?

Best, Allan
