[Summit] curious about sidewalks

Yes, I always "loved" walking my dog and/or my granddaughter-in-
stroller around the front of that HUGE 18-wheeler delivery truck that
backs up to Davis's deli on Hope St., sticking diagonally out of the
parking lot and forcing you to detour **into oncoming commuter
traffic** on Hope St. to continue walking south on the sidewalk.

They should be required to station a lookout there to protect people.
It's always when kids are walking to school bus stops in the morning.

Grr! Well, I don't live there anymore so I'll shut up. I'm just in a
venting mood!

But thanks for bringing this up, Bob. I know the sidewalk ordinances
are broken routinely in many ways. It's a shame. I was always torn
between live-and-let-live and indignation.
