[Summit] not funny- two legged "animal" story

The four legged stories I have been sending Jessica for the article are
cheering me up.

A two legged "animal" visited my yard in the last few days, stepping on
things and then they STOLE -that is the only word for it- most of my lemon
thyme plant. It is cut off almost to the earth in the middle, evenly. The
edges were missed, so hopefully it will survive.

How could anyone justify this, by thinking it is wild or a weed? since it
grows in a POT and I carefully mulched and covered it for the winter, which
is why I had six inches of growth already. I have told a few friends to help
them selves, but I always end up having to cut it for them, and anyway they
would all know better than to take almost the whole plant!!

Last summer I had many peppers stolen. I even saw two men walking a dog
take some, as I was driving up in my car. I couldn't think of anything
civilized to say to them.
Our neighborhood is changing, and how sad.

Any suggestions?

Elianna
