[Summit] my turn to complain

This rash of car thefts could be easily be caused by one or two
individuals. So in this case it is hard to conclude that providence
is going down based on this particular problem our ranking in
unemployment nationally may be another question.
I also did not file a report during our last incident but I did let
the local precinct Lt know about the activity via email and encourage
others to at least do the same.
I have been disappointed in the past as I had a friend's car broken
into late at night for the GPS and they did not want to file a report
due to their long drive. The police were not interested in recording
the activity at all without an official report which I was not able
to file as I was not the victim. Which is a load of crap as far as I
am concerned and leads me to believe that the official crime stats
are wrong.
