I fell two weeks ago on a patch of ice on Rochambeau. I have taken to wearing rubber slip-ons with
small spikes on the bottom which I slip over my shoes. It helps and i haven't fallen but we shouldn't
have to put up with unsafe streets.

The driveway was all icy. I was watching and going slowly but - BOOM. I slid rght down on my back, hitting my head. A nice man was walking nearby - on the street - saw me go down, and came over and helped me up.
