[Summit] I fell today

Job Lot in Pawtucket was out of those "spikes add ons" in December, but I
got some at the Seekonk store off 195, and they really help. I use them a
lot.

But one day last week when I wasn't wearing them I fell walking on the
sidewalk on Blackstone Boulevard. I still hurt in one place. I hope everyone
else is okay. Falling can be serious, especially for older people. Two
years ago a friend of mine, who was not "older", actually sustained a
serious head injury from falling on the ice; she needed a lot of physical
therapy and was unable to work for a year.

Also- tried talking to Citizen's Bank last week and somehow they have got it
in their head that they only have to shovel in front of their windows, and
the side walk around the parking lot will magically taken care of by the
city??? Can some other folks on this list try convincing them?

My contribution to doing more and complaining less, is that I have been
occasionally shovelling a curb path through the plowwed up piles at cross
walks, besides on my own corner. Before the last freeze I did 10 corners,
down towards CVS, both sides, although some of the sidewalks weren't worth
being able to get onto.

There are a few multifamily rentals near me, which are absolutely NEVER
shoveled. Is there any enforcement attached to thet law??
