Hello Neighbors Who are Parents
I just wanted to remind you that this year, Halloween falls on our Jewish
Sabbath, which for us does not end till full dark.
Therefore most of us who are religious will not be answering doorbells or
participating in Halloween till after dark.

In the past, on two occasions, we have tried leaving out a bowl of candy
with a note to take one each- "on the honor system" Both times we noticed
ALL the candy was gone VERY quickly- -- if we had been handing it out, it
would have probably lasted four times as long.

So we won't be doing that.

We Breslers encourage anyone whose kids are still up to come back around 7
o'clock if you want.
