I have been the Community Liaison at The Miriam Hospital for the past 5 years.  Please feel free to forward any concerns such as the one listed below to me.  My email address is Manderson5 at lifespan.org.  We have a phone number for all neighbors to call with any concerns or questions.  The number, referred to as "The Neighborhood Hotline" is (401) 793 4040.

Miriam Hospital seems to be redoing the side walk, and at least some of the
curbing looks brand new, around the parking lot on Summit between 7th & 8th.
So why are there no wheel chair/carriage ramps on the corners?????
That is NOT an area folks in wheel chairs want to have to be using the
street.  And near a medical center there will be folks in chairs for sure.

Does anyone have some pull to get them to change the corner curb stones
before they pour the sidewalk cement??

If anybody is using federal funds, they shall provide ADA compliant  
facilities.  If it is the hospital paying for this, they are setting  
themselves for a lawsuit.  In any case, you can report it to the City  
DPW.
