One of my neighbors had an attempted break-in of their home earlier this week. The criminal did not succeed in entering the home, but was recognized as someone who has broken into homes recently in the area. He seems to like small electronic items and jewelry. Everyone should take care not to have any such items visible through their windows and doors. Remember, too, to lock all doors and windows at night. It has been said that this criminal does not mind breaking in when people are sleeping. Also, when away, leave lights on. I have left music playing many times. Take note of people walking in the neighborhood alone. This particular criminal appears to be an African American young man (late 20's-30's), with a light complexion, approximately 6 feet tall, slender build, wearing knit, polo-style shirt and casual slacks. Hair is dark brown or black and is in a long, not very neat Afro style. He has been seen strolling through the neighborhood during the day. A dog and/or alarm system seem to deter him.
Qui ne dit mot consent.
