Summit Neighbors,
Although I am cautious about being political
on this list, I do believe all of us welcome
the chance to learn more about each of the
candidates. So, I am forwarding this
invitation to a "Meet & Greet" on the East
Side with David Segal, candidate for Congress
in our district.
Note that I myself attended such an event
for David Cicilline earlier this week, so
I am following my own advice - to take
advantage of the chance to hear from and
speak with, ask questions of people for
whom I am being asked to vote.
I regret, in fact that there aren't more
such opportunities - I find them more
useful than staged debates with brief
sound bit answers. A week or two ago,
I went to a Meet & Greet for Angel
Tavares, whom I knew not at all - and
it was very informative.
Note that I am not seeking support for
any candidate here - just publicizing the
chance to learn more about one of them.
If any of you are interested in the Segal
event, you could contact Randall or me
for details.
Blessings,
Liberty G

Subject Can you invite people to a Segal meet & greet?
Hi Liberty,
I'm organizing a Meet & Greet for David
Segal at my apartment on the East Side of
Providence, and am trying to find out how
many people can make it.
Would you be interested in inviting people
you know to it? It will be about a week from
now, probably on the afternoon of Saturday the
4th.
