[Summit] eye doctors recommended

As requested-- our results-- for anyone else looking for an eye doctor/eye
exam-- we got:

Dr. Newman at RI Eye (E. Manning St, Prov) x 8 recommendations
   also RI Eye in general & at the same clinic Dr Lang
Dr. Paul and Dr. Chou on East Avenue x 2 times each
Dr. Carro, Advances Eye Care on North Maine x 2
Claire Messina, Providence Eye Assoc.
Dr. Gerry Glaser at the RI or Warwick Mall
Dr. Ezra Galler, here in Providence

PS  A note for when calling for an appoinment-  eye exams and similar
matters are done by optometrists, but if you think you may have an Eye
Illness or related problem- true Eye Doctors- MDs- are called
opthamalogists.  I do not know which  is which concerning the above names.
