Sidewalk Curb Repair
Please be advised that we will be repairing some of the curbing around the hospital beginning on Monday, July 18 - Friday, July 22. Areas of repair include curbing on Fifth, and Seventh Streets as well as Summit Avenue. Workers and construction vehicles will be on the street. The police will be assisting us to direct traffic. Work hours will begin at 7am. Keep in mind that work is weather dependant and could be extended into the following week if delayed by rain.
Removal of Roof Material
On Saturday, July 23 there will be a crane located on Highland Avenue to assist with the removal of roof materials from the “C” building. Work hours will begin at 8am. Keep in mind that work is weather dependant and could be extended into the following week if delayed by rain.
Crime Watch of Summit Neighborhood Block Captains Meeting
Concerned about the recent discussions about break-ins on the community list serve? Learn about being a “Block Captain” by attending the Crime Watch of Summit Neighborhood meeting. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 20th from 6pm-7pm in the Sopkin Auditorium in the main hospital building, located near the Department of Human Resources.
Donate Recent Magazines
Do you have magazines from July or August, which you have already read, but plan on throwing in the recycle bin? If so please consider donating them to the hospital for patient use. Simply bring any July or August 2011 magazines to the front desk of The Miriam Hospital and we will put them to good reuse!
