[Summit] Summit Digest, Vol 80, Issue 22

This sounds terribly suspicious to me. No professional is going to come to your door on Thanksgiving, and no professional is going to walk uninvited down your driveway and peer in windows. If you're going to engage in conversation with such a person, first ask to see a company ID. Personally, I'd be polite, say thank you but I'm not interested, close the door, and go right to my phone to call the police. If you can supply a license plate number, so much the better.

Then he went up the driveway, looked in a window and came to the rear door and knocked again opening that storm. He said he was here to ask questions about our alarm and he was with a company, didnt get name and he didn't leave any materials. He said he was offering free alarm upgrades. I told him I wasn't interested. He kept at it asking me why and why I felt that way. Frankly it was over the top. I again told him I wasn't interested and to go. He then made a face and wagged his finger at me. I tried to see if he walked to other houses and believe he got picked up in a tan minivan.
