[Summit] Taste of water out of blue hoses

Be careful showering if you are hooked up to the blue hose.  The water is out in the heat all day and is very hot.  I nearly got scalded when we were hooked up. Louise Zuckerman8th St

Those of use who live on 12th st were lucky enough to be hooked up to the blue hoses for a water supply this week. Anyone else think the water tastes disgusting?



The taste does mostly go away with use (run the faucet for awhile) but one has to wonder what wonderful chemicals might be leeching into the water. I'm sure someone will pipe up with verifiable data on that...



That said, we've always used an under-sink charcoal filter.
