Hi, Craig
You are so right. The newsletter costs a lot but, thanks to all you
great leafleters, it gets distributed to every household, member of not.
Lots of? a few? some? people don't have email. As for voting, it's true
that only members vote for the board and the board votes on issues, but
anyone who wants to be involved is welcome at all board meetings or can
contact any board member with questions, comments, or ideas. A year's
membership is only a little more than the cost of a pack of cigarettes
(Only pennies a day as those pleas/ads for money tell us. How much is
that? I don't like to do math.) I suppose if someone really doesn't have
the money maybe we can all chip in. Thanks for the thank you, Craig. I'm
glad you're involved!
Liz
