[Summit] Crime?

We have lived here 16 years.
Our biggest problems have been-- 1) Sometimes someone "helps themselves" to
vegetables from the parts of my graden near the side walk.  The only person
I ever caught was years ago-  my then 70+ year old next door neighbor who
was having what seemed to be the beginnings of dementia. He had some
rationale for taking my tomatoes, which apparently made sense to him....
2) Once someone threw an egg at our house.
3) Once someone took the gas cap off my car.
That's all for 16 years, (may it continue to be good!)

We ARE prudent. Unfortunately these days NO location is perfect.

Probably the MOST likely problem you might have is- if you lock yourself
out, and YOU try to break yourself back in- some neighbor will either call
the police or come over & say WHAT are you doing?
Cause we look out for each other.
