Thank you Anne for the encouragement. I only learned about a year ago that wet paper could not be recycled, so I got a new big bin with a secure top, but mostly before that, when it rained, my paper, and everyone else's too, got soaked. This way it all stays dry and secure, and when you have a few big boxes to breakdown and recycle, it will be way easier than the old cut-up and tie routine. 

For anyone who wants to know exactly what happens to all this stuff, I highly recommend the RIRRC video of the MRF, the recycling facility. I just watched it yesterday, and it's fascinating. Magnets, cogs, blowers, sifters, and yes, even people! You will not forget to keep plastic bags out of the recycle bin after watching the workers cleaning them out of the machines. Here's the link:
