I second Gloria's comments. I, too, have known Harold Metts for a long 
time and know he's a good and honest man, but it goes beyond that. The 
end to any discussion or disagreement now seems to be to call someone a 
racist.

Further, anyone who thinks voter fraud is some Republican or 
already-elected politician conspiracy is quite naive. And why should we 
not believe Anastasia? If long-time politicians are protecting their 
turfs, then wouldn't you want the newcomers to know that all the votes 
were fair? Certainly, many local elections in RI hinge on just a handful 
of votes or less.

I love the idea of photo id at the polls. Not only would everyone have a 
chance to get a photo, with no excuses (though if they can't get to the 
old photo id places, how do they get to the polls?), we would also have 
a photo of the person perpetrating fraud
