Gotcha..
I have to say I am one that believes you should have an ID anyway.   The idea that so many people alledgedly do not have one is so foreign to me.
I came from a family where keeping track of your important documents was super important.   I have had possession of my birth cert and SS card since I was a teenager and have had an ID since then as well, and I am well into my 40's now.
I know many broke college students, family members, kids of friends and acquaintences...and they do have ID's.    

Besides, if you can spend $50 plus dollars a month on a smart phone, which most college students manage to do, you can afford to get an ID.

 I just don't understand in this day in age how in the world that you would not have ANY form of ID.   It still boggles my mind.
