Nicely put Anthony---and I 100% agree............I too was  angry  with 
some of the statements that were made---but yet these people  do not show up at 
a board meeting or talk to Jesse or Dean one on one......As  a unit---we 
are all working together for the betterment of the Summit  Neighborhood and I 
cannot understand why everyone does not see this.....We may  not agree with 
everything that is mentioned-----but we to get things  resolved.....  Howie

I wonder if we should  bring up the list serv at the next meeting.  I'm all 
for free speech,  but anonymous flaming over the web is not civil discourse 
and no one wants  to hear that.  Disagreements, sure, but name calling and 
black  helicopter conspiracy theories about how SNA is some clandestine 
outfit set  to take over the East Side is not what people on this (SNA paid-for) 
list  wants.  

There are many websites that have moved to requiring a  Facebook login so 
that people are less anonymous and thus less prone to such  vitriol.  The NY 
Times and ESPN also scan posts for offensive remarks  and allow people to 
flag posters and comments to be taken down, or to be  kicked off the site.  I 
think we should consider our own rules of  list-serv decorum so that we can 
get back to talking about more important  things like complaining about snow 
shoveling and trash  pickup!
