Beware. This is not a scam, but the insurance has big gaps in coverage. It
doesn't pay for leaks due freezing/thawing pipes, a whole host of natural
disasters (tho volcanoes are unlikely to be a problem here), and may not
cover issues stemming from preexisting conditions -- which is a pretty wide
net. In many cases, homeowners policies cover these pipes anyway. It's
recommended that you call your policy agent first and ask.
