[Summit] Please trim pests

I agree!

In fact, sometimes long threads about topics that don't interest us (this
one for most I'm sure) are an inconvenience.  I'm not interested in
everything either.

I wonder if threads like this get more momentum on Mondays?

BTW, Gmail should show a little ellipsis at the bottom of your message, if
you click on it, you should see all the extra cruft that is poisoning the
digest.
