[Summit] leaf blowers & idling cars: E. Side quality of life issues

Have any of you used a leaf blower?

I have (though not in many years).

They are mesmerizing, wrapping you in a cocoon of noise and sending a
humming up your arms and through your body. You cannot hear your phone or
your family. And you get to be outdoors, shuffling around a little, feeling
productive and helpful.

Idling in your car is similarly cozy and safe, yet outdoors and somehow
productive-ish.

I love Anna's data and, as it demonstrates, leaf blowers are not really for
blowing leaves.
