Skeffington and the rest of the PawSox' new owners have managed to destroy in a month more than 35 years of good will that Ben Mondor had built. All businesses need good will, but few need it more than a sports team, which is predicated on fantasy. Having said that, let's see if the PawSox come up with any sort of deal that makes sense. A ballpark downtown would be an asset downtown, although not on the terms of the insulting initial proposal.
