That's my concern also. I thought that i might spray paint it with fluorescent paint ( I have some old hot pink in the basement) but not sure if that would increase my liability.
I would appreciate it if you let me know find out anything.

The city sent me an email saying mine has also been in the "sidewalk data base" since 2009!
I just called the mayor's office to ask who is liable if someone is injured tripping on it. They suggested I ask the city law department. I just emailed the law department with my question. (I'm assuming the city must be liable, but I'll see what they say.)
