btw. You can get very cheap ($60), unlocked Chinese phones on Amazon, such

Use it.  Break it. Lose it. Who cares. Buy another.

They keep getting better.  For about a $100 you can get one with hardware
close to the best Samsung phone from 2-3 years ago.
