One of my co-correspondents in the Wayland Square Yahoo! Group has just informed us that

“On the 29th, there's a meet and greet at Pizzico at 5:30 for one of the candidates, Dan Chaika, and on the 30th, there's a meet and greet at the community garden on Sessions St. in back of the JCC for Mark Santow, from 5:30 to 7:30.”

Unfortunately, the 29th (Thursday) is also the evening for oral history reminiscences of Lippitt Hill, which was very much in the middle of what is today the Third Ward (Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope Street, beginning at 6 p.m.)

¶ Of course, on Tuesday night, from 6:30 to 8:30, almost all of the candidates will be at a neighborhood forum in the auditorium of Martin Luther King School, 35 Camp Street (midway between Hope, North Main, Olney and Doyle).
