[Summit] Updated Calendar for mid to late April

With a couple of additions and a revision (see April 10th, 17th & 25th), it seemed worthwhile to update my calendar of events (as attached and as printed out below), rather than to send out separate e-mails for each event.
Sorry this is rather late, but I only got one necessary fact on Monday evening.

Tuesday, April 10

5 p.m. sharp – Jewelry District Association monthlymeeting, Room 498, South Street Landing at Dyer Street.  (Enter on leftside, under metal awning, take elevator to 4th floor.)

Tentative agenda:

I-195 COMMISSION   PeterMcNally, Executive Director, will fill us in on current project status and other topics and thenhe'll take questions and comments from the public.

CiTY WALK   AlexEllis, of Providence Planning & Development Dept. will outline the objectives and plans fordesigning the walk/bikeway now in process  thanks to major federalTransportation Dept. grants.

Tuesday, April 17

6 – 7:30 p.m. – WaylandSquare Neighborhood Association, monthly meeting, community room of BethanyHomes, on Butler Ave (the extension of Blackstone Blvd) between Angell andMedway Streets.

 

Thursday, April 19

5 – 9 pm. – GalleryNight Providence, various locations, including free admission to the RISDFaculty Biennial in the RISD Museum.

 

Monday, April 23

7 p.m. – SummitNeighborhood Annual Meeting (open to all), The Highlands on the East Side, 101Highland Avenue at Second Street.

 

Wednesday, April25

4:45 p.m. – City PlanCommission public hearing on the FaneTower proposal for the I-Way property, main floor auditorium of the JosephDoorley building, 444 Westminster St. at Empire (facing Black Sheep and AS 220).

Prices: $1.00 per book(hardcover and large paperback); 50c for children’s’ books and smallpaperbacks. Higher priced books, first editions and rare books also forsale.

Fill-a-bag for $5.Bring your own shopping bag(s) or we can give you some.

Earth DayNeighborhood Clean-Up, in neighborhoods all over the East Side, West End, SouthSide, Downtown and the whole city of Providence.
