| Good afternoon, A new roundabout at the intersection of William S. Canning Boulevard and Stafford Road in Tiverton is set to open on Tuesday, August 28. This marks a successful public-private partnership with Twin River for needed safety improvements at this intersection. Roundabouts have proven to reduce fatalities about 90 percent as opposed to traffic signals. Learn more about roundabouts here. |

| Carolina Bridges, Charlestown/Richmond 
   We are installing deck reinforcing components at one bridge, plus demolishing the existing center pier and prefabricating reinforcing steel at another. |

| I-195 Corridor Bridges Project, East Providence and Providence
   We will form and pour retaining walls at the Parkway Ramp Bridge, make concrete repairs at the Purchase Street Bridge, and cure the concrete deck at the Blackstone Street Bridge. No lane closures are anticipated.  |

| Old Sakonnet River Bridge Superstructure Demolition, Tiverton/Portsmouth


We will complete rip rap installation on the west side of the bridge adjacent to Depot Avenue, while offloading steel, installing fence and guardrail, placing loam and seed, and reinstalling granite curb along Route 24 South, also at the west side of the bridge. |

| Providence River Pedestrian Bridge, Providence


We're building the lower terrace, installing rebar for the lower deck wall, doing electrical work, and installing railing. |

| Route 138 (East Main Road) ADA Improvements, Portsmouth  
   Reconstruction of the intersection of Park Avenue and East Main Road includes the installation of a new signal. Motorists can go around the closed section of Park Avenue via Boyds Lane.  |

| Victory Highway Bridge, West Greenwich

Short-duration rolling roadblocks, approximately 20 minutes in length, are planned for utility pole installation along Route 102 South at the Victory Highway Bridge, Wednesday night from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. We will also place concrete for the backwalls, form the bridge deck, and install utility conduit behind barrier on Route 102.  |

| Washington Bridge Westbound, East Providence/Providence
   This week, we shifted traffic to the left, placed the temporary median barrier, and removed the asphalt wearing surface across the bridge for Phase 1A.  Next week's work will focus on beam jacking operations for subsequent repair of the underlying concrete beams.    During Phase 1A repairs, the Gano Street off-ramp (Exit 3) will remain closed.  Traffic heading to Gano Street should use Exit 2 and then follow the signed detour using Pike Street, South Water Street and India Street to return to Gano Street. |

| Woonsocket Hill Road Bridge, North Smithfield

Working behind barrier, crews will place concrete at the Woonsocket Hill Road Bridge and drill and grout dowels at the Pound Hill Road Bridge.  |
