|  Open Air Saturdays Begin Today

InDowncity's Open Air Saturdays starts TODAY at 10 AM and goes until 6 PM. Each Saturday through the fall, Westminster Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Eddy Street and Union Street to allow pedestrians to browse through downtown's shops while staying outside in the fresh air.

This event allows for safe shopping both in-store and outside on the sidewalks, but for those who cannot attend, the majority of participating shops also offer online shopping and shipping. Everyone is asked to wear face masks and practice social distancing while shopping. No-touch hand sanitizing stations will be provided along Westminster Street.   |

|  Free two-hour parking is available in designated Providence commercial districts has been extended through Sept. 12. The free two hours will be offered from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. each day in the areas listed here.  |

|  Providence Flea Starts Tomorrow 

Starting tomorrow, Sunday, August 2, The Providence Fleas starts back up for the next five Sundays! The flea goes from 10 AM until 2 PM on South Water Street (by the Pedestrian Bridge). Masks and social distancing are required.
