Hello neighborhood stakeholders,



I’m writing to let you know that a draft of the Capital Improvement Program
paving plan for street repaving occurring in 2020-2021 will be reviewed at
the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission meeting this Wednesday,
September 16, at 4:45pm. *This meeting will be held virtually, accessible
at this link: https://providenceri-gov.zoom.us/j/94078475175
<https://providenceri-gov.zoom.us/j/94078475175> or by calling 888-475-4499
and entering meeting ID 940 7847 5175.* I have attached to this email the
meeting agenda. BPAC meetings are open to the public and members of the
community and others who are interested in the project are encouraged to
attend.

Pursuant to Executive Order 2016-1, the BPAC is required to review all
significant street, sidewalk, or trail repair or construction projects at
two points during their development: once during the project’s initial
scoping phase and a second time during the preliminary design phase. All
applicable projects that involve the Department of Public Works or the
Department of Planning and Development in the decision-making process,
including projects brought forth by the Rhode Island Department of
Transportation or any other third party that require the approval or input
of either the Department of Public Works or the Department of Planning and
Development, shall go through review by the Commission.

I have attached a copy of the agenda for the meeting. Please let me know if
