| Motorists can anticipate overnight and daytime alternating lane closures and temporary ramp closures within the I-95/Route 10 corridor as we continue repairs to the Huntington North and South bridges and prepare to replace the bridge above I-95 on Elmwood Avenue next summer.  |

| Our weekday installations scheduled for next week on Broad Street include drainage, with alternating one-way traffic and possible detours from Meeting Street to Titus Street in Cumberland, and curbing, sidewalks and traffic signal work with narrowed lanes and partial lane closures from Exchange Street in Pawtucket to Pleasant Street in Cumberland. |

| East Bay Bike Path Bridges, Barrington/Warren |

| Temporary Bike Path
Temporary repairs are now underway and we just completed the roadway restriping. Next week, plans are to install the traffic barrier and remove and store the existing Barrington Bridge traffic railing until it can be reinstalled as part of the project. This work will require overnight alternating one-way traffic on Route 114 (County Road), from the Warren Bridge to the Barrington Bridge, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m.-5 a.m.
 Long-Term Plan
We are preparing the final scope of work for the RFP and working with National Grid to reduce the scope of their utility work. Once we have reached an agreement with National Grid, we will be ready to send out the RFP.   |

| No lane closures are anticipated next week as we demolish steel at two bridge spans over the Seekonk River, prepare for pile driving at the west abutment, and continue building up the road base for Waterfront Drive’s new alignment.  |

| Demolition of the old I-95 South Viaduct will require overnight closures of exits and ramps within the I-95 Exit 22 Interchange and portions of West Exchange Street next week. Portions of Park Street will also be closed for daytime electrical work, and Charles and Ashburton streets for daytime bridge painting. Motorists can also anticipate overnight alternating lane closures on I-95 for bridge demolition at the I-95 South Viaduct and median work between Smith Street and Route 146. | In advance of our lane switchover (moving Route 146 southbound traffic onto the southbound bridge) on Friday night, October 22, we have been paving the approach slabs and sealing the bridge deck and concrete parapet walls this past week on this project.  |

| Next week at this project, we’ll switch to overnight operations at the roundabout for full depth excavation, gravel placement and paving of its approaches. Weekday operations will include utility work on Admiral Kalbfus Road, with temporary lane shifts along it and JT Connell Highway, and deck demolition along Route 138 behind barrier at the three bridge overpasses, requiring temporary lane shifts along Third Street and JT Connell Highway as needed. |

| This afternoon, all lanes on Route 5 over the Pontiac Bridge will reopen to traffic as we complete Phase 1 of this project. Next week, motorists can anticipate sidewalk work at the bridge approaches and along Route 5. |

| Alternating lane closures on Route 10 North and South are scheduled next week at this project as we install deck forms for the Route 6 Viaduct, build retaining walls for the new ramp to Route 6 West from Route 10 South, and apply finish to the barrier on the Route 10 North to Route 6 West Flyover bridge.  |
