Hi Pete,
Lincoln Woods State Park and its associated pond allow fishing (source: I have fished there, and also seen many others doing so). I didn't have a ton of luck the one time I tried, but it was also the middle of the day which isn't generally primetime for fish. If nothing else, it's a quick drive, it has plenty of parking, and it's a nice place to spend some time!

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend any good fishing spots in the local area? Something for total beginners. Thanks
