It has a very good demographic for a supermarket. If the professionals agree, and the site is not priced too high we shall get something. But if the landlord is greedy might take years greg

Ah ... capitalism. Buy out the local business, spend five years steadily
worsening the product, close it due to "underperformance," and then hold on
to the empty space, blighting the area, so no competitor can succeed there.

I heard back already. They are looking into this space but I guess the main obstacle is that S&S has a real estate holding company that mostly refuses to sell and might not even rent to another grocery store.

We really appreciate your support! It's too early to say what we can and cannot do. Historically, Stoppie has a real estate holding company that dictates who it sells(almost never) or rents to. Depending upon stoppies needs, they will decide accordingly ... they'd rather have it empty than us succeed. But again, it's a little too soon to tell. Thanks for reaching out!
