On Sunday, August 4th, join the businesses and restaurants of Hope Street from 11am to 5pm for family friendly performances, beers, cocktails, food trucks, makers, artists, and live local musicians curated by our neighbor, The Parlour Providence.




Hope Street will be open to pedestrians only from Rochambeau Avenue to Fifth Street, allowing the neighborhood to safely shop, eat, and enjoy a lovely selection of beverages from our sponsors Narragansett Beer, Moniker Brewery, The Industrious Spirit Co. and Topo Chico.

Shop from a huge selection of makers, artists, and vintage dealers. We’ll also have on-street performances and entertainment from Big Nazo, the Extraordinary Rendition Band, RI Kung Fu Club’s Lion Dance, the Providence Drum Troupe, kids activities with Ricky Rainbow Beard, live glass blowing with Gather Glass, and Renegade Wrestling Alliance will be back with live professional wrestling!⁠

This event is entirely free and bar proceeds benefit the Hope Street Merchants Association's mission to support the small businesses of Hope Street through programming and street beautification projects all year long.




We will need help with the set up and clean up at our August 4th event.

Please note: Hope Street between Rochambeau and 5th will be completely closed to all vehicles from 6am to 7pm, as well as connecting side streets. If you can’t bike, walk, or bus down, you’ll be able to find plenty of parking in the area, just a short walk away.

These festivities have provided years of joy, smiles and entertainment. We are grateful to all who organize, perform & join in, as the proceeds help the HSMA maintain the beauty and character of Hope Street through our various year-round initiatives.
