[Summit] waterproofing; "Power" company; replacing siding; etc.

We switched to higher-capacity/wider gutters in 2010 and have had fewer problems with water in the basement since then. We used ABC Seamless Gutters and were happy with them. Separately, we put hoses on our downspouts to carry water away from the house; that helped a great deal. And finally, if you have one place where the water tends to come in, I suggest looking into a sump pump for that spot. Ours has a second pump attached to a battery in case the power goes out.
