The City of Providence is actively seeking engaged residents to serve on Boards & Commissions. Our city thrives on the dedication and expertise of these committed individuals who play a crucial role in shaping policies and initiatives that impact our community. It’s only with an engaged group of individuals on each board or commission, who are willing to serve the city, that we can continue to move the City of Providence forward.
 
  
 
On June 4th from 5:00-6:30 pm, the City of Providence will be hosting  an open house with the city's various boards and commissions at 444 Westminster St. in an effort to recruit more city residents to serve. This is an opportunity for residents to meet and engage with passionate members of the city's diverse boards and commissions, to gain insight into their roles and receive information on application processes, eligibility criteria, and available vacancies .
 
  
 
Whether you're a longtime resident or new to Providence, this open house offers an invaluable opportunity to connect, learn, and apply your passion to serve on boards and commissions.
