BIG SPRING BOOK SALE
at Rochambeau Library

You have been here before!!
Time for the Spring Book Sale
Our usual sorted collection includes many special Asian art books.
Hard cover books and large format p-backs in the big room are priced at $2, softcover trade p-backs $1; small pb and children's are 50 cents. Coffee table books in good condition are $4.
Books in the Specials room (aka the Studio) are priced individually.
If you would like to help with the sale: volunteers are welcome to join the 'fun' by helping with setting up on Tuesday April 21st or as cashiers during the sale or helping with
''take down" on Monday April 27th.

Dealers' Preview Wed April 22 10 am -1 pm $30.00 to enter
Friends hours Wed April 22, 4 - 730 PM Renew or join at the door.
Open to the public
Thurs April 23 930 - 7 PM
Fri April 24 1- 5 PM everything 1/2 price on Fri
Sat April 25 - 930- 430 PM $5 a bagful on Sat.
Special books will be 1/2 price.

We are happy to take:
Books in good condition- all genres - fiction, history, biography, gardenng, science, sports, psychology, humor, fantasy, women's, children's, nature, home, travel, what have you...
- Books in languages other than English
- Math and Language textbooks
- Special value books Sets Vintage books
- REcent Textbooks and travel books
- Coffee table books Art books museum catalogs
- CDS DVDs LPS aka Vinyl
- Specialty mags (photog/art/music/sports/current events/hobbies,etc)
- Special collections
- puzzles
- VHS tapes: we give these away
We cannot use:
- Musty, stained, chewed, damaged or otherwise in poor condition
- Encyclopedias older than 10 years.
- Medical or Nursing Journals

Book Donation information
- Bring one or two bags or boxes at a time and deposit in the bin on level One, near the elevator.
- To arrange drop off of larger numbers of boxes or bags, please contact friend at friendsofrochambeau.org
- Please use wine or beer boxes or banker type boxes with lids and handholds.
- NOT TOO BIG PLEASE
- If you need a receipt for your donation, speak to the Circulation Desk staff first. We’ll need to count your donated items. (IRS has changed its rules in 2025)
NOTE: Magazines and old/worn paperbacks and books can be recycled in your own Blue bin. Remove hard covers first (they go in the trash)
Thank YOU for all your donations. They help us raise money for the Library. The Sales allow funding of Museum passes, daily newspapers, programming for Adults, Teens and children, special projects and more.
