While we usually have less trouble getting INTO our street (Lauriston) from Hope -- except when the bank drive-up line is out into the street, getting out onto Hope is impossible, so we routinely drive three or four blocks on Bayard or Brewster to get as far as Sixth or Overhill. It seems inconvenient, but on the other hand, I really like having Seven Stars handy, not to mention bank, barber, beauty shop, bottle of wine, etc etc.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Part of a solution might lie in the next stage of traffic calming, which I'm still waiting to see -- I understand it's for changes on Hope street in the business district.
