FR ENG, if you had read the posts on this topic instead of just what is in your mind, you would know that there are no plans. A preliminary meeting to discuss the idea is being planned eventually. Nothing else has been done. Please take your paranoid conspiracy theories to a fantasy list where they belong. Greg gerritt

Words out that SNA is planning more construction at Lippitt park. Specifically, this would be fencing off up to an acre and restricting use of the park. As I have mentioned before, it seems SNA takes steps without notifying the public at large. This all started with a fountain idea...then trees were taken down. I tried to alert folks about the trees early on - people said then, that "just wait til the fountain is running" and live with it!!! It wasn't until the public really got invovled this was stopped.

It seems that Save the Fountain group really means change the park!!! This person Jessie P seems to think he and this save the fountain group should act as the conscience of the neighborhood!!!!

I appreciate some of the comments - from Dean (?) - who seemed to give some real reflection of the role SNA plays with the community. Please inform us what change SNA is planning for Lippitt now??? Is this new move just the brainchild of Jessie P or Save the Fountain? Maybe some garden use is planned but it doesn't make sense for those of us who don't live in the neighborhood but have always loved the park...

Perhaps someone who is a leader in SNA - is that Jessie P??? - can address changes you are planning in the park so we know before the bulldozer arrives....!!!!!
