Not sure where you are planning your pathway, but in case it is relevant- and you may not know- mortar is damaged by salt.<br><br>I'm not sure if brick itself is also damaged, but most are cemented down with mortar anyway.  This means that in nasty winter weather most bricked walk ways can not be treated with salt.  You can use shoveling & sand, of course- but there are real reasons people use salt at least some of the time.<br>
<br>I have known several people who chose to ignore this "rule" and in a few years had to pay to have their walkways, or even more problematic- their collapsing steps- put back together again or replaced completely.<br>

I want to have a brick pathway built, and some minor changes to a stone patio done. It’s not a big job. I have bought plants from Evergreen Nursery and Landscape Service in Seekonk for years, and like them very much. Has anyone used them for landscaping and if so, would you recommend them? Any other recommendations for small brick and cobble stone projects?<br>
