We have had two cases in a month of an individual trying to gain access to the apartments in our building during the middle of the day on a weekday. Today (Monday the 23rd), he actually gained access to the interior of the building (possibly climbing up to the second floor side porch), and knocked on the third floor tenants' back stairway door to see if anyone was home. To his surprise, someone was. He made up a story about wanting information about the vacant first floor apartment, then quickly made his way out the back of the house, stealing the key to our exterior rear deadbolt along the way.<br>

The individual was dark-skinned, probably mid-20s, short brown hair, about 5' 10".<br>
<br>
I am new to the this list, but wanted to share this information as we love this neighborhood and want to keep it as safe for all as possible. If anyone has any information, it would be much appreciated. Otherwise, please keep an eye out during the day on weekdays for any suspicious people or activities.<br>
