</div><p>PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A woman was threatened at gun point at an ATM
machine in the atrium of an East Side bank Tuesday morning, said Capt.
David Lapatin of the Providence Police Department.</p><p>At 7 a.m. at the Bank of America, 814 Hope St., at the intersection of <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&sugexp=ldymls&xhr=t&cp=21&biw=1259&bih=823&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&wrapid=tljp1306842044973020&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=bank+of+america+hope+street&fb=1&gl=us&hq=bank+of+america+hope+street&hnear=0x89e444e0437e735d:0x69df7c4d48b3b627,Providence,+RI&cid=0,0,14930205009989238965&ei=ztPkTY6BHaXi0QGriIz7BQ&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&resnum=2&sqi=2&ved=0CCYQnwIwAQ">Hope Street and Fourth Street, walked</a> into the ATM area of the bank and a man walked in behind her, Lapatin said.</p><p>The man showed a gun and demanded $400 from the woman, Lapatin said,
but no money was given and the man fled in a car. The police are
investigating.</p><br>
