To add to Jon's story:  I was coming back from work in Central Falls thinking I'd better get lettuce since there was no way I could imagine any dinner but salad.  Lo!  There was a farmers market at the Park.  I pulled over and admired the fountain and laughed with the kids getting soaked on that hot, hot day.  I got my lettuce, some tomatoes and foccacio -- aka dinner -- and headed back to the fountain where I got splashed, delightfully.  I haven't set foot in that park since my kids used the play equipment.<div>

<font face="Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><span style="font-size:11pt">Today, I got a hot dog at the Chez Pascal cart for lunch and remembered I had a great new place to go eat it – our fountain. There was no one there when I arrived, just a shady bench and the sound of the water. Soon I noticed a grackle giving himself a thorough scrubbing. Then I saw a friend lining up shots for his Facebook page. We exchanged greetings and a bit of news. As I circled the fountain for another look at all four faces, I saw an older man I didn’t know. Still, we recognized that we were both there for the same reason – to experience and admire this new neighborhood wonder – and immediately struck up a conversation about recirculation, water temperatures and our memories of the fountain.<br>
