It's been about a week since these kids descended on our neighborhood and
they've obviously made some sales in addition to making a lot of people
suspicious and angry. The NYTimes article Jeff just circulated is
certainly disturbing, but the young woman who visited us was either a
very good liar or an exception to all the reports of abuse. (As I told
Jeff, I bought from her and have been wondering ever since about the
right and wrong. Also wondering if I'll ever get what I
ordered.)<br><br>
Has anyone heard of a magazine seller attempting to steal anything? Is it
possible the recent housebreaks are by local talent and
unrelated?<br><br>
The true enablers are the publishers who wink at the basic sleaze of this
sales program and take the money.<br><br>
