If they are smart, landlords with parking-deprived apartments will upgrade their apartments and their tenants. Summit is very popular among those ideal DINK couples with 2 cars. They, however, can afford to pass on any apartment that does not come with 2 off-street spaces. In this neighborhood, the present law is what forces landlords to rent certain apartments to a less choosy type of tenant. Once there is on-street parking, parking-deprived apartments will not be significantly less attractive to yuppie renters.
