Providence police investigating armed home invasion<br>Comments 1 | Recommend 1<br>January 13, 2012 3:17 pm<br>By Amanda Milkovits<br><br>PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The police are searching for two gunmen who tied up and robbed a businessman of his bank deposits inside his home in the Hope neighborhood Thursday afternoon.<br>
<br>Detective Lt. Robert Lepre said investigators believe that Kevin Ledo, 33, was the intended target of the robbery.<br><br>Ledo told police that sometime after 6 p.m., two men in ski masks and black hooded sweatshirts got into his house on 11th Street and forced him to the floor at gunpoint.<br>
<br>The robbers tied Ledo with electrical cord and stole a bank deposit bag containing cash from his business, several credit cards, and watches, Lepre said.<br><br>Around the same time, police were called about two men in black looking into yards on 10th Street. Police didn't find anyone.<br>
